Questions about reports

Will my accountant be able to open these files?

Yes. Each download is a .zip of spreadsheets (CSV files) that open in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets. The financial report also has a short README that explains how to read it.

Is the cash difference my profit?

No. It's money collected minus the expenses you recorded. Your accountant works out profit and tax from the sheets.

What does my insurance company get?

A list of every item for the year, grouped by category, with how many times it was rented, the rental charge and its insurance risk level. You set the risk level on each category or item.

Can my office staff download reports?

Owners can always download the financial report, analytics and Export Data. Admins can only if you turn on Can export data for them. You get an email whenever someone else downloads.

Can I leave Jumpbook and take my data?

Yes. Export Data gives you your customers, bookings, quotes, payments, inventory and waivers in spreadsheets, any time, as often as you like.

Are photos and signed waivers in the export?

Photo links are in the inventory sheet. Signed waiver PDFs aren't in the file, but each one can be downloaded from its event.
